Hey colleagues!
As I was working to get my “Practical Servant Leadership” book published by the end of 2023, I had engaged my friend and former co-worker Dr. Michael Moss as my editor.

Since 1991 Mike has been partnering with business leaders to apply learnings from his Doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and vast business experience, to maximize employee experience and productivity through analysis of employee data. He has deep knowledge of human motivation and organizational culture, and is highly skilled at Measurement, Surveys, People Analytics, and other tools that deliver actionable workforce intelligence to improve organizational effectiveness. With this book, Mike and I are combining and distilling over 75 years of synergistic experience to share what we believe are the manifestations and methods that yield the best business outcomes for the burgeoning Servant Leader.
Specifically, over the last two months, Mike and I have been collaborating on how best to structure the content of the book within a Servant Leadership framework supported by science, one that articulates the various mechanisms through which Servant Leaders wield their influence, with examples of specific methods and behaviors that have the most promise for better business outcomes and team performance. In order to provide the highest quality content, I am in the process of restructuring the content of the book within this Servant Leadership framework, pushing back my original publication goal of December 2023 to the first quarter of 2024. I have also included Mike in the byline of the book.
I will do my best to make sure this is worth the wait. To mitigate potential disappointment in this delay, a link to the Introduction is included here. I am excited about this new approach and hope you will appreciate it as well.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
